Hack Day Idea: Skill Development Pathways for RSEs

This lightning talk slide proposes that a good project for the SSI CW23 Hack Day could be something that addresses the need for skill development pathways for Research Software Engineers. There are plenty of resources out there, but how should they be strung together? What skills does an RSE need to progress? Is there a good order of studying certain topics? What are the soft skills an RSE needs to develop? This poses more questions than it answers, and it is hoped that participants at the workshop will help shape this into an appropriate Hack Day Pitch.
